Welcome to Midnight Confessions. I'm your host, LQ. Today's episode is about being present. Being in the moment with yourself or with your partner. When last have you been in the present moment with yourself or with your partner? Meaning just being there with each other. Sitting across from each other on the sofa or on the floor, on the bed. Being present without overthinking. Without thinking about the past, the future, what's coming. We allow us to be both for yourself, being in the present moment. We're so quick to think about other things. Our minds wander about other things, about life, what's going on, work, life, family, kids, money. To overwonder, to overthink, that we forget to be present in that moment. Being present is being in the now. We hear in meditations, yoga practices, or any healing modalities. Be present. Tantra is about being present. You'll be even more present with tantra work. You'll be more present with tantra work. Because you'll be focusing on your breath. Focusing on how you breathe. Focusing on how your partner or partners breathe. Your lovers. How fast, how slow they breathe? Do they breathe through their nose? Do they breathe through their mouths? How do they exhale? The same. How do you breathe in and exhale? Is it fast? Is it slow? Whether you're sitting with your partner now, or partners, or lovers, take a moment and just look at them. They don't have to know what you're doing. You may also share this practice with them if you wish. But I want you to take a moment and just look at them. From the tips of their toes, to the top of their head, to their fingers. Just take a moment and look at them. Appreciate everything about them. See how they sitting or standing or talking. Be in that moment. Allow yourself to engulf, to feel that moment. And as you're taking a look, see. Feel what feelings come up for you. Notice your breath. Has it increased or has it slowed down? Is your mind wandering overthinking? Did you think about something from the past? Did you think about something that's coming from the future? Wash away those thoughts with a breath and look again. Whether you're looking at your partner, or maybe you're taking a look at yourself. Appreciate everything about you, about them. Maybe you notice a scar. Maybe you notice how they hold a pen. How they holding their phone. How they eat. How they driving. How they talking, how their lips move, how they smile. Or maybe you notice how angry they get, frustrated, sad, how they cry. Tantra. Being present. Now you're probably wondering how do I know this? How do I know being present with just looking and staring or watching yourself or your partner? Well, I've blended tantra from self-practice to all areas of my life, including my clients. So whether my client is sitting with me on my sofa or on the floor or on my table, I'm always being present with them. I'm looking at them, seeing how they react from what I say or how what they're saying, to how I softly touch their hand, their forearm, to their forearm, to the back of their neck, to their chest, to their thigh. To even holding them. I give them little reminders now and then. Breathe, be present in this moment. Don't worry about the past. Don't worry about the outcome. Just be in the now. Be in your heart, be in your stomach. Be in this moment. And I'll softly touch their hand. Take their hand and put it on my heart and breathe. Just to center them. It takes time to get our minds to stop wandering, to get our minds to stop stressing, to overthink. But when it does happen, when it does happen, remind yourself that it's okay. Close your eyes or look away to a different direction to refocus. And then come back to being in the present. We're in such a rush nowadays that we forget to be present, to be in the moment. We rush in everything we do. But our sensual life, our sexual life, we shouldn't rush it. We shouldn't rush the moment, the sensations, the feelings, the breath. We shouldn't rush anything about ourselves. But we tend to rush everything in our life. So I want you to just practice. I dare you. Actually, yes. I dare you. From now to the next episode, to just sit. Be present with your partner. Partners, lovers. Just be present. It doesn't have to be sexual. Doesn't have to be sensual. All it has to be is just being present. By holding their hand, looking at their hand, looking at their smile. Maybe you're in a car ride. Watching how they drive. What music is playing. Pay attention to that. Be in that present moment. And you know what? It'll make you help you understand how to be present with everything else in your life. You never know what you might see in your home, your work life. Driving, walking, talking with friends and family, partners, because you will be more present. You'll be able to hear things, see things, sense things a lot more deeper. Because you've choken, because you've taken the time to be present, not worrying about what happened in the past, not worried about what's coming from the future. You being present. You being in the now. So I dare you to be present. Don't overthink. Don't worry about the past. Don't worry about the future. Be in the now. I dare you. I dare you until next time, my lovely listeners. Exo XL LQ.
