Welcome to Midnight Confessions. I'm your host, LQ. Let's begin the next episode. Your sexuality is not separate from your spirit. Intimacy begins where performance ends. Let's soften into this together. Because intimacy isn't something you do, it's something you allow. So often we've been taught that intimacy is about closeness with another person. But real intimacy begins the moment you stop performing. Performing strength, performing confidence, performing desirability. Performing I'm fine. Performance creates distance even in relationships, even in sex, even in love. Tantra teaches us that intimacy is born in honesty. The honesty of I don't know. I need more time. I'm scared, but I'm here. This is tender for me. When you allow yourself to be seen in those vulnerable spaces, something shifts, something softens, your nervous system relaxes, your body opens. Trust becomes possible. This is why Tantra slows everything down. Intimacy cannot survive speed. It needs presence, breath, and consent with yourself first. Here's the truth many don't want to hear. If you cannot be intimate with yourself, your fears, your longing, your uncertainty, you will unconsciously ask others to carry that weight for you. You will seek completion in another instead of finding it within. But when you learn to sit with yourself, to stay when it's uncomfortable, to breathe instead of perform, you become a safer place to love from. And this is where sexuality and spirit meet. Your sexuality is not separate from your spirit. It is not something to hide, suppress, or feel shame about. It is sacred, it is energy, it is life flowing through you. It is curiosity, pleasure, devotion, and longing all in one. When you integrate your sexuality fully into your spiritual and emotional self, you honor your body as a temple, not a tool. You feel more fully alive in every breath. You reclaim the power that has been silenced or shamed. You discover that desire is not a weakness, it is an awakening. Sexuality is part of the human experience, not separate from the divine, not separate from your creativity, your passion, your connection with others. When you embrace it, you allow yourself to fully step into your radiance, your power, and your liveness. Your dare. This week choose one desire, small or large, and speak it out loud. To yourself counts. Whisper it, say it in the shower, write it down. Let yourself be heard by your own presence first. Notice how your body responds. Notice how your nervous system softens. Let this be a practice in sacred intimacy with yourself. And if this episode stirred something in you, curiosity, longing, remembrance, know that you're not alone. Tantra is a path that teaches us how to live from the body, how to build connection from the inside out, how to remember who we were before we learned to disconnect. If you feel called to explore this work more deeply, whether with me or another tantra practitioner, follow that pool with discernment and care. And if you're curious about my world and the tantra I offer, you can explore my website or reach out directly. Either way, let this be the week your body remembers that you loved fully, unapologetically, and sacredly.
